Whenever my parents come to visit, our kitchen table turns into a veritable cornucopia of their own produce and other Portuguese delicacies. Cod fish, Octopus 🐙, dried ham , oranges 🍊 , lemons 🍋 , pears 🍐 , tomatoes 🍅 , onions, chilies 🌶, figs, passion fruit, spinach, leeks, zucchini, parsley, eggs, sweet jam and flowers.
